Founder and Senior Design Consultant Ed Piechocki knew early on that design was his passion. Four years at Bucks County Technical School gave him a solid basis in design skills, which he fine-tuned at the Hussian School of Art (where he would eventually go on to teach).
Ed started as an illustrator for children’s books in 1968. He went back and forth between Philadelphia and New York City, showing his portfolio to anyone who would let him in the door. While “pounding the streets” wasn’t easy, it allowed Ed to work at home and spend time with his family.
His dedication landed him work with major companies like Sun Oil, Westminster Press, and ACME Manufacturing, and eventually he managed their entire marketing programs, including graphic design for corporate identity, collateral and promotional materials, packaging, and trade show decor.
Ed loves every aspect of the design industry, but the most exciting thing for him is to see idea sketches come to life in full scale while designing and building themed trade shows.
Outside of the office, Ed is a huge Philadelphia Mummers fan, marching in the Parade for 16 years, and designing many first-place award winning outfits over the past 25 years. He also enjoys spending time golfing with friends and friendly clients.
